Terms of Service

1. Introduction / Acceptance

By accessing or using Archx Short Gen (operated by Archnemix), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users.

No registration required – you can use the service completely anonymously.

2. Free Service Promise

Archx Short Gen is and will remain completely free with:

• No ads – No banner ads, video ads, or pop-ups
• No registration – Use without creating an account
• No paywalls – All features are free, no premium tiers
• No credit card required – Ever

We believe creative tools should be accessible to everyone. If you enjoy the service, share it with others and help keep the community abuse-free.

3. Rate Limits & Fair Usage

To ensure stability for all users, we enforce reasonable limits:

• Realtime Mode: 10 videos per hour per IP address
• Overnight Mode: 3 active jobs at once per IP address

These limits prevent abuse and keep the service free. Attempting to bypass these limits (e.g., using VPNs to circumvent rate limits) may result in temporary or permanent blocking.

4. Video Storage & Expiration

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Videos are temporary and expire. ⚠️

Realtime Mode:

• Videos are available for 1 hour after generation
• Download immediately – after 1 hour, files are permanently deleted

Overnight Mode:

• Videos are available for 30 hours after the backend completes processing
• Save your claim code to check status and download later
• After 30 hours, videos are permanently deleted

No recovery: We cannot restore expired videos. You are responsible for downloading and saving your videos if you want to keep them.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Archx Short Gen responsibly:

• No illegal content – Do not create videos promoting illegal activities
• No hate speech or harassment – Keep it respectful
• No explicit/adult content – Our auto-filter removes inappropriate words
• No copyright infringement – Use your own original scripts
• No malicious use – Do not attempt to abuse, overload, or compromise the service

We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or block content/users that violate these guidelines. Help us keep this a safe, family-friendly tool.

6. Your Content & Ownership

You own your scripts and videos. By submitting content:

• You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to generate your video
• We do not claim ownership of your content
• We do not use your content for training AI models or any purpose beyond providing the service
• Your scripts are not permanently stored after processing

7. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to provide functionality:

• Hugging Face – Temporary video storage
• AI Voice APIs – Voiceover generation
• GitHub – Job tracking (Overnight mode)

Your content may be transmitted to these services solely to generate your video. We are not responsible for their policies, but we choose reputable providers.

8. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

Archx Short Gen is provided "as-is" and "as available". We make no guarantees about:

• Uptime or uninterrupted service
• Error-free operation
• Video quality or processing times

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Archnemix is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. You use the service at your own risk.

9. Service Changes & Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may restrict or block access to users who violate these Terms or engage in abuse.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Archnemix harmless from any claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved in Pakistani courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
